With the Wounds UK Scottish Conference now in its 13th year, 2012 will see the event continue its long tradition of providing healthcare professionals in Scotland with an unrivalled opportunity to attend a high-quality one-day event that addresses the myriad challenges wound care clinicians face across all healthcare settings - from primary to secondary services and care homes.
Those attending will hear key experts discuss a range of important issues, including the use of NPWT on complex wounds, compression therapy and patient concordance, and the reduction of surgical site infection, as well as an update on SIGN guidelines and current and best practice.
The day will close with a panel debate, where our speakers will present clinical scenarios for discussion, and highlight the lessons learned. There will also be an opportunity for participants to discuss their questions with the panel.
This conference is an opportunity to learn from shared experiences and to challenge, educate and confirm existing practice - a 'must attend' for wound care clinicians.
