One of the most recent break-throughs in technology is Volvo Truck’s Dynamic Steering - a new system that allows the driver to steer a heavily laden truck without effort. What is behind this, is an evolution that has already made its way into other types of vehicles, including high-end automobiles, with Volvo picking up the technology for its heavy trucks. At low speeds, an electric motor replaces the driver's muscle power. As presented in the official video featuring J. C. Van Damme performing a split between two Volvo Trucks, a perfect steering feel in all operating conditions shall be delivered.
