WELCOME TO BEHAVE 2014
Behave 2014 is the third European conference on behaviour and energy efficiency. This year’s theme is ‘Paradigm Shift: From Energy Efficiency to Energy Reduction through Social Change’ and will explore how energy efficiency can be achieved through social behavioural change. It will be held at the Saïd Business School in Oxford on the 3 and 4 of September.
Behave 2014 aims to bring people together from the public and private sectors involved in energy efficiency, locally and internationally, to share recent research, new technological developments and best practice on understanding and influencing behaviour related to energy efficiency. With increasing demand on power supplies and rising fuel prices, research into behaviour on energy use is fundamental to ensuring our future energy supply. A key part of any future strategy requires public engagement with their behaviour and attitude towards energy. This year’s conference themed ‘Paradigm Shift: From Energy Efficiency to Energy Reduction through Social Change’ will focus on how this can be achieved.
