The Conference is intended to create a focal regional platform for discourse and collaboration in the region - unfolding wider understanding and an array of opportunities for regional and global players in the area of biotechnology along the way. It will also feature speakers who are thought leaders and experts in their respective fields, with four main two-day tracks, each focusing on:
1. AGRICULTURAL BIOTECHNOLOGY – with a special feature on Aquaculture and the huge potential for development in this area;
2. BIO MEDICAL – with a focus on current developments and initiatives in this interesting area, including potential initiatives on vaccines within the region;
3. BIO INDUSTRIAL – with an emphasis on biorefineries and its valuechain; and
4. POLICY AND ECOSYSTEM – with an in depth analysis of current trends in biotechnology and bio-economy from a policy perspective & then translating these policy blueprints into action.
