Martin is the founder and CEO of Conferize, the world's biggest social platform for events. He is also a former Co-Founder of Issuu, the 'YouTube for publishing. Martin operates within culture & technology, innovation & design.
Conferize is by Forbes considered to be the best networking platform for professional events, selected above Twitter and LinkedIn.
Issuu, a Time.com Best Website, is now in the US top-100, serving 70 m users and 8 bn pages every month.
Martin is also a 2011 member of BNY Talent-100, and he holds an MA in Culture & Communications. In 2006 he gave up an international PhD fellowship for the love of entrepreneurship and (almost) never looked back.
He also co-founded the band Epic Typo that opened for Einstürzende Neubauten at Casa da Musica.
