The Clean Code Days take place the second time on November 10th 2014 (Community-Meeting), November 11th and 12th 2014 (Conference-days) and November 13th 2014 (Workshop-day) in Berlin.
The topic Clean Code caught notice more and more in the last years. Its meaning is like easy to read and traceable code and was originally furthered by Robert C. Martin. A community dealing with this topic was build up round here too.
The benefits of Clean Code are obvious: stable programs, better maintainability of existing and new developed software, finding bugs faster and easier upgrading of software.
But there are not only advocates of Clean Code. The statement „The software is operating“ is used especially by the management to curb the entering of Clean Code. The prevailing attitude is the cost of a restructuring. Only at a second glance you realize Clean Code is reducing cost medium-term.
