In October 2014 it will be 5 years since the International Comedy industry first gathered in London for the Comedy International Conference, the only European b2b event for the Live Standup Comedy Industry. Discussions started, networks expanded, new markets were successfully entered and comedy shows are now touring in more territories and languages than ever. The event has become a key feature in the Comedy year.

This year the Comedy International Conference will be back at Pleasance Theatre London, to celebrate achievements, look back to where we started and forward to where else Comedy can go. You can secure your place by registering now. Almost too much to fit in one day, we will bring 4 panels, plenty of networking breaks, including lunch, a drinks reception, dinner and topping of the evening with a showcase of talented international acts.

The Conference is set up for professionals in the international Comedy Industry, such as agents, festivals, managers, media, promoters, services and venues who have an interest in developing their network and knowledge within the UK and worldwide.

The Comedy International Conference is created by, for and with the international Comedy Industry. The aim of this annual event is to improve opportunities for the exchange of comedy between the UK, the rest of Europe and beyond.

More information including previous panel programs, delegates lists, photos and video is available in the archive section of the website.

Our long term goals are for the Comedy International Conference to develop from being an annually returning event for the industry to:
- Build a platform for the international Comedy Industry;
- Address and solve common challenges the Industry faces today;
- Create cross border networking and promotional opportunities;
- Explore options to support new initiatives and international talent.
