Every February and August, Copenhagen hosts the Nordic Region's largest fashion event, Copenhagen Fashion Week. As industry movers and shakers get dressed and ready for a week of sartorial extravagance, the runways come alive with a diverse cast of fashion talents — Danish and international, new and established, classy and street. Meanwhile, the four trade fairs, Vision, Gallery and CIFF/CIFF KIDS, boast upwards of 1,100 exhibitors representing more than 2,400 international collections in all categories of style.
Scandinavian fashion is known for its unique take on design, which marries modern elegance to playful aesthetics and conceptions of dress. A contemporary approach to fashions both feminine and masculine is expressed in fresh silhouettes, innovative fabrics and sharp colour schemes, all in unsurpassed qualities. These are only a few of the reasons why more than 50,000 international buyers, designers and press attend Copenhagen Fashion Week twice a year.
Of course, the other main attraction to see is Copenhagen itself. It's a cosy yet metropolitan harbour city that offers a rich array of design venues, cultural events, shops, cafés, bars and nightlife.

About Copenhagen Fashion Festival
Copenhagen Fashion Week has developed into a large and renowned event with an international scope aimed not only at fashion industry insiders, but also the general public. That's why for every Copenhagen Fashion Week, there's a simultaneous Copenhagen Fashion Festival organised in collaboration with Wonderful Copenhagen and Copenhagen City Centre, with events and venues that are accessible to fashion-interested consumers.
Copenhagen Fashion Festival invites the public to join the fun during fashion week, when large parts of Copenhagen are transformed into a fashion Mecca of shows, exhibitions, concerts, trend shows, exclusive shopping and parties.
