This unique programme is designed specifically for vessels below 350 tonnes and up to 24 metres registered length. Its been developed to draw together the range of knowledge required by a competent small craft surveyor as well as offering the flexibility to focus on topics of particular interest through the specialist modules.

The course is supported and approved by the renowned industry bodies of RINA and IMarEST as well as The Nautical Institute. Led by the Course Director, Bill Tate, Head of Maritime Training, UKSA, your expert faculty will guide you through your studies, offering support and advice, to maximise your learning.

Delivered online by distance learning, this qualification enables you to study wherever you are in the world. The secure website provides access to the course material along with the opportunity to interact with other students in a dedicated environment.

Students who complete the Diploma in Small Craft Surveying have the opportunity to gain a masters qualification from Lloyd’s Maritime Academy and Middlesex University.
