If you’ve never heard of an unconference, go ahead and search it out using your favourite tools. Also, consider reading this article about why they are fun and useful.
Here’s our short intro to what the HUB:BLE unconference concept involves. It is a ‘delegate generated event’ with a specific focus on technology, business, innovation and creativity. It is not an opportunity for a sales pitch! All delegates are expected to join in – either with a talk, or by networking with others, asking questions, bringing a rollup banner, and being enthusiastic!
Some talks will be selected in advance – based on ideas submitted on this website, and on voting. Other talk slots will be left open and are available one a first-come first-served basis on the day. Put yourself in the spotlight by filling in the schedule gaps at the registration desk.
This is not a true unconference – there are no parallel sessions, and we have put some structure into the day to help ensure it is worthwhile and retains focus.
We will have a laptop PC dedicated for uploading presentation materials at registration. Please be prepared to copy your talk there before you are up – it will save everyone time.
