“We are preparing a very strong program this year, focusing on a variety of topics,” said professor Rosental Calmon Alves, founder and organizer of ISOJ. “The program will start with sessions dedicated to strategies media companies are, or should be, adopting to face the advanced stage of the digital revolution, but then we will move to topics such as the impact of social media on journalism, the use of responsive design by news sites, the challenges and opportunities created by the widespread use of mobile devices and the importance of data-visualization on online journalism.”
