Community Management Intern

Conferize is the world’s biggest social platform for events. We connect the world of events with speakers, people and media from any industry. We help event organizers build communities, websites and mobile experiences to increase the quality and attendance of their events. More than 6.5 million people, 55,000 speakers and 23,000 events are now using Conferize.
We are growing rapidly and are looking for a talented Community Management Intern to handle building and managing our vast community. Our clients include LeWeb, TEDx, Ad:Tech, The Guardian, Creative Business Cup, and thousands others.

Tasks and responsibilities:
Your work area will be within managing our platform and interacting with clients. On a daily basis, you will:

  • Build and engage your online community by reaching out one on one.
  • Complete administrative tasks for the front and back end of Conferize.
  • Add important, upcoming conferences to Conferize.
  • Monitor client enquiries and respond in a timely manner.
  • Account management for clients.
  • Help clients with website building.
  • Assist the CEO in various tasks.

What we look for:

  • You are a Master student or third year Bachelor student within communications, media studies, public relations, or a similar background.
  • You have experience from a similar customer centric position and want to strengthen your skills further.
  • You have some experience doing administrative work.
  • You are outgoing and proactive with a high level of drive and enthusiasm.
  • You work independently and structured and take initiative and responsibility.
  • You have excellent English communications skills.
  • You are tech savvy, love startups, and want to be part of a dedicated team, where you can make a true impact and develop your career.

The small print

The intern position is unpaid for 6 months after which a paid position may be offered to the right candidate. At least 15-20 flexible hours per week is required. We offer free lunch and a creative work environment located in the coolest startup coworking space Founders House at Islands Brygge, Copenhagen.
