Chief Technology Officer

General requirements

  • All positions are full time (37 hours pr. week).

Specific requirements

For the CTO role we are looking for someone who’s a leader by example. Someone who can set a high standard for a highly engaged and motivated team of developers. The CTO will play a vital role in decisions on how we build the product, the technologies we use, and how we grow and engage the development team. We are not looking for a boss or a project manager. We are looking for an experienced and skilled developer with a strong technological background and experience managing and supporting other developers.

  • 10+ years experience in software/web development.
  • 3+ years team leading experience.
  • Experience with hiring and growing teams.
  • Care and interest in operational excellence and support for delivering results effectively.
  • Ability to see and understand multiple perspectives, and a strong decision maker.
  • Constructive and solution oriented.
  • Experience building engaging and high growth web products.
  • Experience understanding and supporting team members strong sides and help improve on weaknesses.

Technical qualifications

  • 3+ years of Ruby on Rails experience.
  • Strong understanding of NoSQL database fundamentals.
  • Basic JavaScript / CSS experience.
  • Good understanding of UNIX and shell scripting.

Bonus qualifications:

  • Experiencing working in or founding a startup
