Summary:
The Shared Services and outsourcing revolution is still on going...

Description:
With the global economy in a continuous flux, cost cutting, optimisation and valuable service delivery to Shared Services professionals have never been so important. Nordic region is no stranger to these developments, and this was thoroughly discussed at SSON’s Nordic SSO Forum 2012 in Stockholm last September, where over 130 industry pioneers gathered to share best practices and explore trends in shared services, offshoring and outsourcing.

However the 2012 conference has also left us with a strong message on how shared services and outsourcing could be adapted to the uniqueness of the Nordic market: An increasing appetite to consolidate their overseas presence and compete on a global scale.

Whilst the top challenges still remain in the coming months, we are now progressing and developing the programme for this event to reflect the above mentioned theme. As such, the following factors will play a critical role in the research and development of the 2013 Nordic Shared Services and Outsourcing Forum agenda:
- Migration of SSC Location Global Pattern
- Outsourcing Contract Renew
- End-to-End Process Optimisation
- GBS Operations
- Scope Expansion
- Aligning with Business Strategy
- Productivity and Value Creation

Competition adoption is an imperative in the new economic landscape - you can’t afford to get left behind with yesterday’s drivers and services delivery offerings. SSON will continue to keep you at the forefront of this sector. We hope you join us in all the excitement and innovation that Nordic SSO Forum 2013 will bring.
