The All Blacks are recognised as one of the greatest sporting organisations on Earth. They have dominated international rugby union for decades and re-gained their status as World Champions in 2011. In 2013 they achieved an unprecedented 100% winning record, which included winning the Rugby Championship in the southern hemisphere.
What do the All Blacks have, which makes them so special? How have they managed to create a culture that has enabled their incredible success? What can leaders from sport, business, education and the public sector learn from the All Blacks, and how can they apply these lessons to enhance their performance?
During this session, Simon Hartley and James Kerr will offer some unique insights into elite sporting cultures. In particular, James will share his experiences from inside the All Black camp during the lead up to the 2011 World Cup. How did the All Blacks turn around a crumbling culture to become the very best in the world? We will also discover how these insights and lessons can be applied to our organisations.
