How to pitch your company in 3 minutes.

Free pitch-training workshops that provide the crucial first step for startups looking for funding.

The half-day sessions cover:

- how to put a pitch presentation together and what to include

- guidance and feedback on delivery skills

- how to overcome nerves and body language

- how to maximise networking opportunities at the event

Surrounded by fellow entrepreneurs, you will benefit from a supportive environment, as well as honest and insightful feedback from your peers on your pitch. At times you will even receive good tips for your business model or technology too!

In the words of entrepreneurs:

“A great way to learn your key messages, perfect your pitch and meet interesting people.” Lenka Gourdie, CEO & Founder, Salesservant.com

“The workshops provide participants with practical tools, handy tips, a precise methodology and a hands-on approach that can fill the gap between telling a story and successfully pitching a company.” Giampiero Di Carlo, CEO & Editor in Chief, Rockol.com

The pitch-training workshops are free to attend for small to medium-sized tech startups in the UK, and for European tech companies coming to the UK.

Qualification criteria (all 4 need to apply to your company):
1.A UK based business OR a European business looking to set up an office in the UK within the next 6 months
2.Startup, small or medium-sized business with 0-5 years in business
3.ICT sector or cross sector with a technology/digital/mobile element to the products/services
4.Looking for investment (angel/seed/VC funding), business partners, and to expand the business internationally (if UK based), or to establish the business in the UK (if Europe based)

N.B. The organisers reserve the right to cancel the registration of any company that does not comply with the above qualification criteria.

The workshops are run and organised by 2Pears and supported by UKTI.

Julie Collins from Collins & Collins, with a background in marketing and extensive experience of preparing pitches for large international companies, e.g. BBC production companies, facilitates the workshops.
