This course will describe the best practices that can be applied to engines, turbines, steam generators, pumps, and heat exchangers. Detailed analysis of thermal efficiency of different industrial applications will be presented. Based on different parameters it will be shown how the system can be optimized which can result in an increase of the overall efficiency. The course will also present the effect of piping thermal insulation. Thermal efficiency improvement techniques will be discussed.
