The course will introduce participants to advanced issues in project management with emphasis on sustainable planning, inter-project relationship and cost-effective decision making; budgeting and capital budget coordination process; project development, scoping, delivery, execution and control; resource requirements; communications with stakeholders, risk management, reporting; pre- and post-contract management.
Case studies and exercises from applied public sector projects will be used for demonstration and discussion. The content of the course will be according to the standards of PMI processes and knowledge areas.
The objective of this course is to provide best practices and basics in project management concepts and various professional practices of project management tools applied to work within municipal, local government and public sector projects.
