REconomy Bern

Wednesday, 20 March 2019 at 19:00 CET

Local and worldwide event at this time in your time zone (right-click).

Dear people of Bern,

There are many good projects and initiatives in Bern region. We would like to connect and make these projects more visible to all of us. Creative group for new, regenerative economy within Transition Bern initiative kindly invites you to our first interactive workshop aiming to introduce the worldwide functioning concept of REconomy.

We want to connect and introduce it to people from Bern region, who are already working on similar projects in Switzerland. We will share practice experience among each other with the intention to form a group of people which will support facilitation and mutual collaboration in the future. In this open and interactive session we plan to engage as well in an exploration of what makes a local economy regenerative and how to build one.

Join us on Wednesday, 20 March 2019 at 19:00 CET either in person at Wylerringstrasse 36, 3014 Bern, Switzerland or via Zoom video conference (check when event starts in your time zone). Event duration: 90 to 120 minutes. Participation is free with possibility to donate.

Our guest (via video conference) will be Nenad Maljković, network entrepreneur and permaculture designer with particular interest in social and economic aspects of permaculture, effective collaboration in groups and in virtual teams for systemic change and network weaver in REconomy practitioners local to global virtual community of practice. REconomy practitioners worldwide are invited to join this event via video conference.

About REconomy practitioners

We are local to global virtual community of practice. We self-organise to provide peer-to-peer support to regenerative entrepreneurs, enterprise ecosystem builders and community organisers that are reimagining how can we meet our needs, create livelihoods and jobs in ways that are inclusive, socially and ecologically regenerative, fair and resilient.

What we call REconomy Enterprise is a financially viable trading entity that fulfills a real community need, delivers social benefits and has beneficial, or at least neutral, environmental impacts. Find out more about our activities.
