the goal of the conference is to bring together like-minded developers and those interested in the Ruby programming language to learn, have conversations and get to know others in the community. The format of the conference strikes a balance between technical presentations and the 'hallway track'. The 'hallway track' as it's commonly called is the unplanned space between talks and events. It's one of my favorite parts of conferences as this is where you can have impromptu discussions with other developers on important matters. Whether it's some detail in how a library or gem works, how to handle a certain problem on your current project or finally getting to meet this other developer you've only known online. These conversations deepen your connection with others in the community and are so valuable to the conference experience. We encourage all attendees and speakers to seek out others and have those conversations.
