The Science in the City festival takes place in Carlsberg City District in Copenhagen from 21.-26. June, 2014.
The festival opens on Saturday 21. June at 10 am, and offers a variety of exciting and free science events throughout the week till Thursday. The festival area will be open all days from 10 am -20 pm, and further has special events scheduled in the evenings. See the full programme here.
Besides the many science events and activities, the festival area also contains all necessary facilities such as sanitation, food and beverages, and hang-out areas where visitors can take a break and relax or enjoy their packed lunch.
The main entrance to the festival area is through Ny Carlsberg Vej at Enghave Plads.
Carlsberg City District is easily accessible by public transportation. Take the S-train to Enghave station, which is approx. 400 meter from the festival or take bus 3A, 10, 14 directly to Enghave Plads.
There will also be parking areas for cars but as these are limited, visitors are encouraged to use public transportation or arrive by bike.
