You are invited to the February 26, 2014 program of the Houston International HR Roundtable. We have a special program for February. This will be an timely and informative program on an issue that affects everyone with an international workforce.
The management of social security compliance obligations in the world of global mobility is seen as a basic but necessary administrative task. From a US perspective, social security costs are low, relative simple to administer and of only minor concern to expatriate populations. However, for many organisations the cost of employer social security contributions actually exceeds the tax cost associated with an international assignment. This month’s session will focus on how costs and compliance burdens can be managed most effectively, how risks can be managed and how global organizations can plan, design and implement new approaches to social security management which will give them competitive advantage as well as operational efficiency.
