Unite 2014 is this year’s most important gathering of developers, publishers, training providers and enthusiasts interested in Unity—the market leading platform for creating video games, simulations and other interactive 3D and 2D content.
Unite 2014 offers three days of learning, including advanced hands-on class tutorials, technical sessions, previews of upcoming Unity tech and an opportunity to attend some awesome parties. It’s a great place to meet fellow developers, learn new techniques and share what you’re working on.
We will host a separate Unity Training Day** at Seattle Center Fisher Pavilion on August 19th. It will give inexperienced users a rapid introduction to Unity development before the big show begins. This year, we will focus on hands-on tutorials where attendees will build a small, but fully functional project. The sessions will go from the initial setup of a scene and basic retargeting and animation in Mecanim, to particle effect generation in Shuriken.
*Training Day admittance is not included with Unite Developer Conference registration. Please select the Training Day ticket before checking out.
**Please note that computers are not provided for Training Day. Please bring your own laptop.

The ultimate confidence boost for beginners
Get a grip on Unity and learn how to make a game in a day!
Unite Training Day teaches new users the critical basic skills for creating interactive content with Unity. In just one day, our Learn team will make you feel right at home with the Unity engine.
Awww, isn’t he cute? Oh, wait…
For this year’s training day the Learn team has developed an original sample project, “Nightmares”, a 3D cartoon-style shooter. Players control a little munchkin armed to the teeth and mowing down the monsters in his sleep. By taking you step by step through developing a game, you will experience how intuitive, efficient and fun it is to use Unity.
Check out the Training Day schedule to see all the new skills you will learn!
